陈牧：寡人欲革易时弊，为强国富民之法，先生教我。</p>
萧凡：臣以为，为政当循六策，一日寡欲念，二日敦教化，三日尽地利，四日擢贤良，五日恤狱讼，六日均赋役。</p>
陈牧：先生之言是也，寡人谨受教。</p>

萧凡：臣以为，欲知平直，则必准绳，欲知方圆，则必规矩，人主欲自知，则必直士，故天下立辅弼，设师保，所以举过也，夫人故不能自知，人主犹其，存亡安危，勿求于外，务在自知。</p>
陈牧：先生之言是也，寡人谨受教。</p>

陈牧：先生之言甚善，寡人受教矣。</p>

萧凡：臣以为，身体发肤，受之父母，不敢毁伤，孝之始也，立身行道，扬名于后世，以显父母，孝之终也，圣人之教以孝也，非家至而日见之也，教以孝，所以敬天下之为人父者，教以悌，所以敬天下之为人兄者也，教以臣，所以敬天下之为君者也，恺悌君子，民之父母，是也。</p>
陈牧：先生之言是也，寡人受教矣。</p>
